• Check driving routes in advance for congestion or roadworks.
• Reduce your speed in bad weather and keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
• When visibility is poor, put your lights on to be sure.
• Plan alternative routes in case an unexpected issue arises.
• Be alert!
