Cross City Bus
We’re making it quicker and easier to travel across the West Midlands by bus.
New bus lanes, bus priority at busy junctions and improvements to stops will provide more reliable, regular and predictable journey times improving the travelling experience for all bus passengers along our most used bus routes.
New cross city services will reduce the need to change buses in Birmingham city centre, making bus travel quicker, easier and more attractive.
Our proposed new routes go via Birmingham city centre. They are:
- Longbridge – Hamstead
- Druids Heath – Dudley
- Longbridge – Castle Vale
- Bartley Green – Chelmsley Wood
- West Bromwich – Chelmsley Wood
